Ruby Anthony Weaver Tutton, 97, passed away on 11/15/2023 in Tucker, Georgia.  Ruby was married for 55 years September 11, 1949 to Glenn Roberts Tutton of Buford, Georgia 6-26-1920 to 4-12-2004 whose mother was Winnie Lee Tutton born 6-7-1893 to 3-8-1992.  Glenn's father was Newton Clarence Tutton 1887-1975.  Glenn was Staff Sergeant in World War II.  Ruby's husband Glenn had 3 siblings:  Julia Tutton Watford 1934-2004, Myron Lee Tutton 1911-1989, and Doris Virginia Tutton Cash 1925-1967.  They are now at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery # 02 Buford, Georgia Hall County Memorial ID 24521798.  Ruby and Glenn had resided with their family in Lake Ivanhoe subdivision of Tucker, Georgia on Locksley Road since 1963.   Ruby and Glenn have a wonderful  home which won Yard of the Month and always was beautiful.  Glenn and Ruby shared the yardwork and then their son Tony has done it since.  Ruby and Glenn met at Sears, Roebuck and Company on Ponce de Leon Avenue Atlanta.  Ruby would go by Glenn's house on her way to work at Sears. Ruby was born in Corbin, Kentucky to Mr. Banks and Mrs. Mattie Clyde Polk Weaver with her twin sister Ruth Pickern on 4/28/1926. In addition to her twin sister, Ruby had 2 brothers Banks and Ralph.  Ruby is survived by 2 daughters Cynthia (Cindy) Tutton Jones of Tucker Georgia and her husband Gerald Eugene Jones, and Julia (Judy) Tutton Smith and her husband Richard Russell Smith of Atlanta Georgia , and a son Anthony (Tony)  Roberts Tutton of Snellville and his wife Margie Saint Germain Tutton.  Ruby is also survived by 1 grandson Kyle R.  Tutton of Tucker, and 1 granddaughter Ashley Tutton Dexter of Canton, Georgia and her husband Justin and  by 2 great grandsons Jeffrey and Ryan Dexter also of Canton Georgia and a great granddaughter Ella Grace Atkinson of Canton, Georgia.   These are Ruby's legacy.  Ruby left behind a wonderful family.   Reverend Jim Cantrell Funeral Service Friday November 17, 2023 at 2 p.m.   Bill Head Funeral Home  Tucker 6101 Highway 29 Lawrenceville Highway Tucker, Georgia  30084.  (770) 564-2726.
