Ruby Beth's obituary
Ruby "Beth" (Jensen) Dougal, 88, of Boise passed away on March 12, 2012 with her family by her side.
Beth was born on October 4, 1923 in Duchesne, Utah to Julius Jensen and Vilate Goodrich. She was the ninth of ten children, all of whom have preceded her in death.
She was married to her first husband, Clyde L. Hansen, on October 25, 1941 and was blessed with her first child, Carol, on June 27, 1944. Clyde passed away only seven months later from pneumonia.
Beth later married Harold M. Dougal on July 6, 1950, and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in December of the same year. They recently celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Beth lived in Boise for the remainder of her life. She was an avid genealogist and an award-winning photo colorist. She was happiest when she was serving others and having family and friends around her. She loved to care for animals. She was a Christ-like example and blessed the lives of all who knew her. Beth had a warm and unique sense of humor to the very end. She was active in the LDS Church and served in numerous leadership positions in Primary, Relief Society, and Sunday School.
She leaves behind her husband, Harold; her daughter, Carol; four sons, Lee, Stephen, Mike and Scott; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one cat named "Tiger".
The funeral service will be held at the LDS chapel located at 3200 Cassia St. in Boise, Idaho. She will be interred in Vernal, Utah.
