In Loving Memory of Ruben Cordova Sr.

March 13, 1962 – March 14, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ruben Cordova Sr., 63, who was called home to heaven on March 14, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ. Born on March 13, 1962, in Tucson, AZ, he was the son of Enrique Cordova Sr. and Guadalupe Cordova.

Ruben wore many titles throughout his life: husband, father, tata, son, brother, uncle, cousin, compa, and friend. In the final year of his life, he embraced his retirement in Phoenix, AZ, where he cherished spending time with his granddaughter, playing and creating memories.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ruben Angel Cordova Jr.; his father, Enrique Cordova Sr.; and his brothers, Enrique “Wedo” Cordova Jr. and Danny Cordova. He was also preceded by his nephews, Peter and Richard.

Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Cordova; his children: Angela Margarita Cordova, Gabriel Cordova, and Crystal Christine Ramirez and her husband, Aden Ramirez; and his granddaughter, Ren Mahetsi Ramirez. He also leaves behind his mother, Guadalupe Cordova, and his in-laws, Mark and Cathy Othic. He is further survived by his siblings: Diana Cordova, Victor Cordova, and Mark Cordova; as well as his sisters-in-laws, Marisa, Rachel, and Carrie, and his brother-in-law, Mo.

Ruben will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews: Regina and her husband Spence, Anna, Daniel, Angelica, Jessica, Mark, Victoria, and Stephanie, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews: Gregory, Spencer Cruz, Fina, Diana, Richard, Joseph, Audrina, Arianna, Rene, Janissa, Armanni, Brielle, and Peter.

Ruben's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on April 26, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ. The event will take place at 12 pm at RSD Wellness Center, 1030 E Baseline Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
