Me and my sisters worked alongside Roy at Vivint Smart Home Arena during Jazz games and even concerts. He was always so happy to see people and made us feel so special every time we walked in the building. My little sister worked at the team store and he took tickets right outside and she adored him. Her dream is to go to England and he always had stories and suggestions for her. Just a few weeks ago, she mentioned that she would go back to work just to see him and have a conversation with him. We are devastated to hear the news of Roy’s passing and we are sending all of our love and light to his family during this extremely hard and sad time. May you Rest In Peace, Roy. Thank you for shining your light so bright and making such an impact on this world.
I worked with Roy at the arena, there were days where I was dreading coming in, but the second I saw him, I was so happy to be there. My heart aches for his family, the people who just lost one of the most wonderful people. When lockdown happened, my first thought was Roy. He was supposed to visit England around the same time I was, we always talked about it, and he gave me a list of things that he thought I would enjoy while I was there. I think about him often, everyone I meet always hears a story about him. He had the most beautiful smile and talking to him was always the most exciting part of my day. He has made such a huge impact on my life, I am forever grateful for the conversations I have had with him. He had such a great heart. Thank you, Roy. Thank you for making my bad days good, and my good days even better.

Prayers and thoughts with you all at this difficult time. Close your eyes and think of his face he is there you will feel him.
I love all the memories I have with your dad and your family. I am so glad I got to see him and talk to him over the summer. We were reminiscing about their high school reunion at the ranch and how Annette and I ran up a huge bill at the fancy restaurant there. Loved all the fishing trips, riding in the back of his pick up truck. Loved waking up to him routing for his favorite team Charlton, soccer games, and his lovely voice and manners. So glad I knew him.
He was Pops to so many of us. I always felt welcome and loved around him even tho he would give me a hard time for being Irish haha. He will be sorely missed! All my love to family.
