RIP my good friend.  I’ll remember you as kind with a big smile.  JGHS class of 1972.

Again, I pass on my most sincere condolences to Roy's family and friends. I have known Roy since 1969 and became friends with him immediately. We went through school and band together and I eventually ended up working for him when he opened a Gerrero Music Store in Zanesville around 1975. We were the only ones that ran that store at first doing all the cleaning and remodeling of the old New System Bakery...it was a greasy mess! He was not afraid to get his hands dirty and we worked well into many nights to get it ready to open. A long with being the manager, he would not hesitate to help with deliveries or anything that needed attention. He always had comments on the girls I would date and only liked the one I ended up marrying. (Good choice Roy, we have been married for 45 years and counting!) He liked his big cars and boats and in our off hours, Roy, myself, and Mary Ann would go waterskiing at Salt Fork Lake. (I really miss a good friend!) Roy is one of the few people that earned my complete respect! After working with him for around 3 years, I moved on but continued to do service work for him until he moved to California. For a time I stayed in contact with him but when some bad decisions affected his life, I slowly lost contact with him. I will always regret that! Recently,I did start texting him and was glad to hear he was doing OK until his recent health issue. I truly do miss him and will always have fond memories of our time spent together. Rest in peace my friend!

Sincerely,

Tim  & Mary Ann Graham
