Roy Ellison Anthony Doty, aged 79, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Kyle, Texas. Born on October 7, 1945, Roy was a dedicated father, grandfather, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His commitment to his country was paralleled by his dedication to his career as a machinist, where he skillfully crafted mechanical parts for the oil industry.
Roy was a man who cherished simple pleasures, finding joy in fishing and bowling. These hobbies offered him not just relaxation but also a way to connect with friends and family, creating lasting memories.
He leaves behind a loving family: his daughter Edith Doty, his son Guadalupe Lara, granddaughters Christine Spinks and Julia Spinks, and grandsons Levi Fennell, Royce Aguilera, Alejandro Aguilera, Lorenzo Aguilera, and Pedro Argote Jr. His sons-in-law, J Pedro Aguilera Argote and John Fennell, along with Josephine Aranda Napolez, the mother of his children, and all of his great-grandchildren, will also hold his memory dear. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt, and his youngest daughter, Kimberly Lynn Doty-Fennell.
