Most people only knew our dad as Buffalo. If anyone mentioned the name Roy, or Mr. Birdsong, he would turn around looking for his dad, yet his full name was Roy Franklin Birdsong. He started going by “Buffalo” when he was a teenager. As a 6’5”, 285 lb 8th grader who was Native American, you might be able to understand why he was given the name.
