Roxanne's obituary

Roxanne Geery

February 11, 1951 – April 29, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roxanne Geery, who departed this life on April 29, 2025, at the age of 74. Roxanne passed peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born and raised in Canandaigua, New York, Roxanne was a woman of warmth, grace, and quiet strength. She touched the lives of many with her kind heart, thoughtful nature, and steady support. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, Roxanne always put others before herself.

Roxanne found joy in the simple pleasures of life - tending her garden, baking with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David Geery; her four children, Michael Geery (Sarah), Lindsey Harris (James), Andrew Geery (Emily), and Rachel Bennett (Mark); and her beloved grandchildren, Ella, Jackson, Nora, Liam, Ava, and Brandon Geery (Samantha). She is also survived by her sister, Marianne Douglas, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Marshall.
