I'm so sorry for the loss of Ross. I'll always think of him whenever go to St. Mary's or when I saw him downtown. He always waved. Rest in peace Ross !!!
Ross taught so many so much.   We are all better off because of him.  A leader, a hero, an advocate.   Rest in Peace Ross.   You will always have a place in my heart.

The Marion County Intellectual and Developmental Disability Committee send their condolences to Ross's family, friends and co-workers.  Ross was a valued member of our committee. He always had a kind word and was a passionate advocate.  His passing leaves a big hole  in our community and in the hearts of those who knew him.  He will be missed.
Ross was an incredible person. Reading through all the comments the impact he had on others and the I/DD community through his tireless advocacy is clear. I met Ross over twenty years ago when I started going to high school in Mt. Angel and met him around town, and later had the privilege of getting to know him as a co-worker at the Mt. Angel Abbey. He had such a great sense of humor and was a great co-worker. It was always great running into him over the years, in a professional space, at the Casino, or the Mt. Angel 4th of July celebrations. Ross you will be forever missed.

I worked alongside Ross since 2015 as part of the DD Coalition Executive Committee, on advocacy, in workgroups, and in pretty much every professional setting there is in IDD services. Ross was there to chat me up and calm me down before my first legislative hearing testimony. He was not afraid of anyone or anything, and his confidence and composure taught me so much. He always asked the question. He was never done advocating. I’m terribly sad for all of us in Oregon and beyond to have lost the voice of Ross Ryan.
