Hello Joe
So sorry to hear that our Rosemary is gone. She meant a lot to me and I shall miss her terribly. I am so sorry that I did not know every time I cross the bridge to go to Poughkeepsie. I think about stopping by to see her and now I am sorry I did not for she is gone and I won’t see her again you have my sincere condolences for you and your family, I’m sorry I will not be able to make the service because I found out with short notice but know that she will always be in my prayers and in my heart and I hope she is resting in peace
An answer to your question what made Rosemary different from most people that I know she was a kind soul and she was a loving soul, and she always made me think I really valued all of her teachings and all of our experiences together she will be missed

Dear Joe,  So sorry for your loss and our loss.  I knew Rosemary from the clinical social work society and from Woodland Pond--especially the Yiddish class.  Rosemary was very special: warm, bright, loving, funny.  I shall miss her so much.     Tamar Opler

I met Rosemary at a  Clinical Social Work Society meeting 30 years ago.  While we had chosen different paths in the profession, she & I shared much through the years. Rosemary was an  unusually gifted, talented, community supportive professional.  She was gentle, caring, highly intelligent, fun, with fine humor, a soft spoken mentor to many and a wonderful story teller.  Rosemary  deeply loved her family .

How sad to hear of Rosemary’s passing. What a wonderful, kind, intelligent and caring person she was. As my co-worker  and supervisor she taught me so much during our time at Family Services. She was a skilled  clinician who treated people with fairness and respect. In her later years she demonstrated her ability to face challenges with courage and grace. I’ll always remember her insight, her sense of humor, and fascinating stories about her varied life experiences. I send my condolences to all her family. May she rest in peace.
