Rosemary Adele Avery died (89) on June 19, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Newport, OR. She was born on February 22, 1934, in Lafayette, Indiana, USA, and was the daughter of William A Gasser and Edith Clarice Eager. She married a Naval Flight Engineer, Vance Elton Avery, in 1960. She lived with their son, Dr. Mitchell Allen Avery, in Long Beach California, followed by Barbers Point, Hawaii; Rota, Spain; Sasebo, Japan; and then Fukuoka, Japan before returning to Hayward, California in 1976. She moved to Newport, Oregon a few years later where her husband became the water treatment plant supervisor (des. 1995). Rosemary is survived by her son, his wife Margaret Avery, and two grandchildren, Alexander Avery (37) and Korben Avery (25). She was an astounding individual loved by her many loyal friends and family. Words cannot express the depth of our loss.
