Rose's obituary

Rose E. Morrison (nee McCollian) age 82yrs of Gibbstown NJ passed away Saturday February 13, 2021 at Cooper Hospital, Camden. Rose was born in Philadelphia, December 26, 1938 to Joseph and Mary McCollian, the youngest of 8 children. She married and raised her family there until moving to Pennsauken in 1976. After the passing of her husband she moved to Audubon then Mantua until settling in Gibbstown in 2002. Rose enjoyed going out to breakfast, playing Bingo and cards with her friends and crocheting. In her spare time, she would crochet hats and blankets to donate to the Maternity Ward at Inspira Hospital.
Rose was blessed to experience the world grow around her. And as the world grew, so did Rose’s family. She passed away knowing she was a Great-Great Grandmom. She is survived by her children, Mickey Morrison (Sheila Yeager) of Riverside, NJ and his 4 sons, Roseann Wainwright of Fayetteville, NC, her 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Steven Morrison (Lorie Horton) of Galloway, NJ, his 3 children and 4 grandchildren and Jeanette (Richard) Peel of Gibbstown, NJ and her 3 daughters; along with many nieces & nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband, George W. Morrison, her parents, Mary and Joseph McCollian; 2 brothers, 5 sisters and their spouses.
