Ms. Rose Marie Morris Mitchum, age 66, of Lyons, died Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Oaks Bethany Home in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Bartow, Florida living most of her life in Toombs County since 1961. She was a homemaker and is preceded in death by her father, John H. Morris; a brother, Johnny Morris; a grandson, Austin Gray; and a nephew, Steven Lynn.

Her family includes her daughter, Christy Reese Little and husband Brendon of Marysville, Washington; a niece who was like her daughter, Dana Bennett and husband, Ronnie of Vidalia; her mother, June Galbreath Jordan; her step-mother, Evon Morris of Lyons; a sister, Angie Harrison and husband Phillip of Vidalia; a step-brother, Ronnie Jarriel and wife Sharon of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Alexa Little of Marysville, Washington and Emma Little of Bellingham, Washington; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
