So many memories have been flooding my mind as my heart grieves the loss of one of my best friends ever. One fun one is the time my husband/I were going to meet up with Rose and the extended family in Spain. One day she met me at my mom's house in Menlo Park and my mom says "why is Rose bringing a roll on suitcase"? Hmmm..well she had it stuffed to the gills with travel books and maps!!! We got such a kick out of that - Rose truly did prepare soo diligently for trips, and so did Ken. And as a result it was sure fun. Otherwise we probably never would have known about the chocolate museum in Barcelona!

Another treasured memory is that Rose and Ken and the family were so loved by my mom and dad. They absolutely loved Peter and how smart he was even as a toddler. And Clare was (and still is) one of the most beautiful babies and now woman they ever knew. And Rose gave me such a big gift when just this past Easter she visited my mom because I was out of town. My mom was housebound and nearing the end of her life but the couple of hours Rose spent with her were never forgotten. My mom just raved about the time she spent. Rose taught me a whole lot about caregiving for which I was so grateful as I spent time with my mom.

We love you, Rose
I watched Rose and Ken walk the labyrinth at St. Edmund's, and every time they came close to each other on the path, they stopped and kissed.

Rose was full of love and was always caring. She was knowledgeable and resourceful. She would always keep others in her thoughts and was persistent in providing solutions whenever issues would arise. And I really appreciate she took our last two family photos! Rose was very strong and positive. Rose will always live in my heart!

Clare and Peter know that I pray that your mom sleeps secure in peace and May she one day be joined together with your dad at His banquet table when we are all called in the last day. She will be missed.

Rose and I were talking in the school area when a man came over carrying my daughter. A short while later, Clare followed. We asked what happened and Clare chimed in, “we found a new road to come down the hill, I told Jennifer to go first and she fell.” Rose asked Clare if she came down the same way and Clare said, “No, I went the way we walked up!” To this Rose responded, “That’s my girl.”
Sorry to hear about Rose’s passing. We used to work together at JFK School. She was one of my paras.
Eternal rest grant to her oh Lord.
May the perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
