We regretfully announce the passing of Rose Carroll of Sanford, FL on August 17, 2023.  Rose died from complications from a heart attack , and she was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Rose, was one of the strongest, most courageous, bravest, and kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. Rose was born to Peggy and William Carter on May 8,1954 in Ridgely, Maryland. She was raised by her mom and stepdad (David T. Carter).

In 1980, she moved to Florida and resided in Seminole County for 43 years. Rose was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Rose was preceded in death by her mom (Peggy), Dad(David), son (Michael),daughter ( Tammy Hollinger) and husband (Malcom “Mike” Carroll). She is survived by 1 sister Libby Dolby, 1 daughter Amanda Carroll, 2 granddaughters Hailie Carroll and Aura Hughes, life partner Dan Reagan, son n law Everett Tillotson, 2 step grandchildren Allison and Sean Tillotson, 2 grand son n laws Elias Liranzo, Justin Moore, 6 sisters n laws Toy Church, Elizabeth Roe (and husband Dale), Shelby Edge, Junie Carroll, Debbie Wilder ( and husband Bob), Julie Hood (and husband Jeff), 2 brother n laws Oliver Carroll, Scott Reagan ( and wife Marty), plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  Rose is being cremated by Sunshine State Cremations in Winter Springs, Florida. A celebration of life will be held September 17,2023 @ Wilson’s Landings time TBA.
