I miss you so much, Rosie. My dearest cousin and friend. Although we lived far apart from each other as kids, visits with you were highlights of my childhood. My dad still tells the story of the fishing trip where you attracted all of the fish in the lake with the consistent jokes you cracked and stories you told as we sat in a small row boat laughing and reeling in bluegills. When I visited Arizona I was convinced I wanted to be a “scene queen” like you.It was a dream to get to spend so much time together when I moved to Arizona, continuing the highlights as we continued to grew up. I remember you driving me all around the valley when I was a carless college student. I remember experiencing my first haboob with you and how calm you were as the dust rushed around us. I remember hopping into your car and you putting Puff directly into my lap (to my surprise and delight) the day you got him when he was just a big pawed puppy. Getting a tattoo in your kitchen. It’s difficult to accept that I won’t get one of your sweet hugs, your radiant smile, or witty jokes again. You are a dazzling, intelligent, and aware women who brought so much light and laughter to a world that desperately needs it- despite the challenges you navigated. I cherish you and I will always cherish our memories.

My husband and I were neighbors and watched Rose grow up. She was only 7 yrs old when we moved into the neighborhood. She went through some hard times in her young life as is her little brother. I prayed for both of them through the years. Her and I had a lot of long talks on what she was going to do in the future and now never to come. She had planned to sell the house that her grandfather left her when she was turning 30 and get a condo for her and her brother and now this will never happened. R.I.P. my beautiful angel. Our love for you will never die.

I am sad to hear this news. I remember when Rose and I would goof off and share dance ideas and just hang out at CGCC. She was a really fun, caring and would be there to support you as a person. Rose you are loved and you will be missed.
