Rose Beggs, born on February 20, 1948, gracefully departed from this world on December 27, 2024. Her strength, compassion, and irrepressible spirit will be forever cherished by those who had been touched by her warmth and affection during her remarkable life journey.
Known for her unwavering faith, she found solace and unity in the community of Hyles Baptist Church, where she was a committed attendee. Her faith was the foundation of her resilience and served as her guiding principle. It was in this community that she demonstrated her relentless love and support for those around her.
Rose is lovingly remembered by her spouse, Jerry Lipscomb, with whom she shared a profound and lasting connection. Despite the hardships of losing two previous partners, Eugene Bowles and James Beggs, she found in Jerry a life partner who brought happiness and tranquility back into her life.
The legacy of Rose's love extends to her sons: Roy, Eugene, Michael, Sam, and Jason. Each son carries with them the strength and compassion that Rose encouraged in them, manifesting in their own unique ways. They are the testament of Rose's unwavering dedication to cultivating a loving and supportive family despite the adversities she faced in life.
Equally grieved by her loss are her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Including her granddaughters, Lindsey and Rory Bowles, Rhyann Beggs and her grandsons, Roy Bowles Jr., Jeremiah Beggs, and Braylen Bowles- just to name a few. Rose's love for her grandchildren was boundless, as she derived immense joy and fulfillment from her role as a grandmother.
Rose's life was an embodiment of love, resilience, and faith. She was an inspiration to all and her memory will forever serve as a beacon of strength to her family and those who knew her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and acknowledge the indelible mark she has left on us.
