Rose Marie Barone, 96 of La Mirada, California passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born to Sam and Josephine Dandrea in Rochester, New York, on December 6, 1929.

Rose worked at various department stores and schools. She was known for her faithfulness, perseverance and kindness. She loved her family and showed it in every way possible. She enjoyed keeping up on everyone’s busy lives and getting together when she could.

She shared a deep and ever-lasting love with her husband Philip, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life with their children and a good deal of pets.  Also preceded in death are her siblings Mary Palermo, Ralph Dandrea and Arlene Dandrea.

Rose leaves behind her children: Steve Barone, Sandy (Paul) Rowell, as well as Linda (Roger) Hamilton. Her grandchildren include Jennifer (Matthew) Meehan, Catherine (Kevin) Clark and Tony (Jennifer) Hamilton. Among her great-grandchildren are Davis, Emma, and Archer Hamilton.

Services will be held at Loma Vista Memorial Park Chapel in Fullerton on Saturday, February 28 at 1:00 PM.
