Mrs. Rose Ella Aguillard Joseph, daughter of late Samuel Aguillard and Ella Robert Aguillard, was born September 14, 1945 in New Roads, Louisiana. She was baptized at an early age at St. Augustine Catholic Church in New Roads, Louisiana.

She was united in holy matrimony to Lionel West Joseph in August 1963. This union was blessed with eight children. Lionel preceded her death on April 28, 2021.

Rose enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved cooking and feeding everyone. She was the happiest spending time with her family. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She unexpectedly departed this life, Saturday, December 18, 2021; at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Joseph, sister Alice Mae Edwards, brother Lester Aguillard, and sister Betty Theresa Aguillard.

Her beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of her children Lionel Joseph Jr (son) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Jimmy Joseph (son) of Houston, Texas; Emma (Fredrick) Green (daughter) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Michael Joseph (son) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Lester Joseph (son) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Vicky Joseph (daughter) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Alicia (Steven) Joseph Dillard of Houston, Texas.  Twenty grand children and twenty-eight great grand children. Two sisters Mary (Steve) Lucas and Sheilla (Kenneth) Leonard, both of New Roads, Louisiana. Four brothers, Samuel (Gladys) Aguillard Jr of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, David (Theresa), Melvin Aguillard, and Felton Aguillard, all of New Roads Louisiana, and a host of nieces and nephews.
