Roscoe Thomas Gregory Jr., was born December 29, 1970, in Brooklyn, NY, to his parents, Roscoe Thomas Gregory Sr., and Luz Ellena Barrocales. Upon his birth and stay in the hospital nursery, he was returned to his mom and called by the nurse “Man of the nursery” because he did not cry despite all the babies crying around him.
