Sometimes we are fortunate enough to have someone come into our lives at the right time and make a lasting impression when we need it the most. Ros was that person for me. She was a teacher at heart, both in and out of school, and the subtle but impactful lessons I learned from her have made a difference; and I think the same for everyone that knew her.

Always with a positive infectious attitude, adventurous and fun, but at the same time she showed us how to handle challenges with a quiet class and grace. That was Ros. That was her gift. And that’s what I will take with me. Along with “it was so funny because…”

To Liz, Emily and Erin and your families, thank you for sharing your Mom with me and my family. Same to Karen and Peter and Maureen and Woody. Your family’s friendship over the years have meant a lot to me. And Ros meant the world to me.

I am so grateful to have known her and to be able to call Ros, my friend. I will never, ever forget her.

The view and sunsets will always be there, but they have lost their biggest fan. “You just can’t beat this.”

Roz will be sorely missed at our Book Club and also at the Hull Garden CLub .  I remember we first met at yoga and were instant friends.   I will miss you my dear friend...Sleep in peace.
