My thoughts and prayers go out to Ros's family, as she was certainly a very special woman. We have worked together many years and shared many personal stories. I have so many memories of talks about energy and healing, balance in life and in our relationships, and what it has been like to be a mature woman. We were drawn to so many similar interests and shared a love for our children and grandchildren. I will always think of a Hawaiian flower when I think of her and words of wisdom that just came from a heart of compassion and caring. Peace to all who knew her! Blessings to us all for knowing her! Love to her family!
Warmly, Jeri Ellis
I am so sad to hear of Rosalyn's passing. I so enjoyed my time spent with her at Capella events and teaching/coaching various residencies. We often had breakfast and just shared stories about our families! We shared photos and laughs and often called to consult with one another. Her energy was infectious and her "energy work" and family were her passions as we visited. I will remember her wonderful smile and laugh and I hope her family is comforted by many wonderful memories and knowing how special she was to so many!
I was so deeply saddened to learn of Rosalyn's passing. She was a colleague for almost 11 years, but first and foremost, she was a dear friend. She was with me at the beginning of my journey with Capella. We shared many hours of laughter and tears, as we spoke of our deep feelings about life and love. We talked pretty much nonstop when we had our "coffee meetings" at residencies. Rosalyn shared great wisdom with me, and I always knew she would have the right best words to offer, no matter the topic. Quite often, I called upon her for support, and she was always there with a smile and a warm hug (or a virtual hug). At one residency in Florida, she wore a skirt that I loved. I told her I wanted one. After residency, she went back to the store in Venice, called me while there, sent me pics, gave them my card information, and then had it mailed to Texas for me. That's a true friend. Way beyond anything else was Rosalyn's deep love for her family. She adored her son Russ and his family. She was quite proud, indeed. Her eyes lit up when she spoke of her granddaughter and her grandson. Each time we met, she had new videos and/or photos of the children to share. In my eyes, she was the best Abuelita a kid could ask for. She was, and will continue to be, one of my role models for grandparenting. In the photos she shared, I could see in the eyes of Rosalyn and her grands that they had a very special relationship. I loved Rosalyn, and I will miss her so much.

Rosalyn was an amazing fun loving caring person. We rode in an Uber together and we were catching up on each other’s life. The Uber driver kept talking to us and she and my non verbals with our eyes were wishing he would leave us alone to enjoy each other, but he wouldn’t. Rosalyn in her sweet way gave in and accommodated the driver gesturing to me we’ll catch up later. We got the best laugh together once we got to the hotel to check in to work. She gave such care to the Capella learners and was a great joy to work with. I will miss seeing Rosalyn but her memory will forever live.
I was just on vacation in New Mexico, wearing an assortment of hats with wide brims. I thought of how wonderful Rosalyn looked in big hats. And I also thought of how often she would ask to put on my hat and then look completely stunning in it. Then, she would ask if she could keep it. Often I said yes, but sometimes, would remind her I'd already given her hats, like the wool watch cap she took with her to Hawaii. Mysteriously, she thought she would have a use for it and I believe she did on some travel or another. We had wonderful girlfriend time together over many years, in spite of several differences, we had these hats and a shared friendship of give and take. Some day I will get over the loss of her in the present and focus mainly on the blessing of knowing and loving her. I believe I will not get over her missing her own future and the time with her son, daughter in law, grandkids, cousins, and many friends and colleagues. Peace to all of you, Mary
