She was a force and will always be remembered! We had many good times when she visited CA. We attended a musical at South Coast Plaza with her name sake Aunt Rosalind Lefferdink Brown along with her Mother Lois Borg , and Nancy Cramer. We had a great meal and a lot of laughs! At this time her Mom, as well as mine were getting up in age and she always made an effort to enjoy cousins as well as her immediate family. Always thoughtful and never missed a birthday wish to my Mother,  her Auntie Roz!

Our RozII (Jodi) enjoyed travel as did her Mom, Lois and her Dad Art! My parents were stationed in Europe for many years during my father’s Military Career and were able to host family.

Lois and Art came to visit for an extended period. From that day forward they had the world travel bug and passed this on to RozII (Jodi)! She took her European and World trips and ensured that tradition was passed on to her kids and onto her grandchildren. She always knew the value of travel, education and horsemanship! All takes planning dedication and commitment! She was such a great person and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She enjoyed having a few good cocktails or vino  enjoying life and fun stories! Nothing but great memories of Cousin RozII

Her kids no doubt miss her daily interactions and advice! She was a great Mom cousin and teacher and always a facilitator!!! We miss her but know that she will always be remembered for her love of life and would want all to embrace each day with positivity and enjoyment.

Our years living in Boulder Co always brings thoughts of RozII as a college kid and then later as an adult  raising her kids they visited often!

Lovingly

Helping hands

Rosalind is my first cousin. We always called her RozII, named after my Mother Rosalind Lefferdink Brown. Her mother Lois, was my Moms sister.
My early memories of RozII was when our family lived in Boulder Colorado. We have photos of my father standing in for hers during a College parent activity at the University of Colorado (CU). We had many fun times at our home during the holidays as children; where the Borg’s, Lefferdink’s and Browns would gather. We always had the Piano playing and the instruments out! RozII had her horse Val during this time and my older sister road Apache - they had some fun times as did we with pleasure riding-
Roz II and our family had some wonderful times together even though we, in later years lived away from Colorado. Roz was a hardwork fun loving person and I always had great respect for her and her dedication to “others”. Her accomplishments both in the educational instruction within the school system as a teacher, coupled with her continued love of her efforts within 4H and outside judging and development of champions- she was a force! I loved to visit her and wish we could of had more visits- she was so very proud of her family and enjoyed keeping tabs on each one. She was a wonderful mother and fostered within her family the love of travel, education and horses!! Her visits with our family in later years were filled with humor, musicals and just fun times!! We will all miss her very much.
With condolences-
Pamela Raye Brown
Jodi was a gem. She was my judging coach many years ago. She was tough, but loving and expected only the best out of me. She opened her home and heart to so many. She will be sorely missed.
Jodi epitomized the values of 4H and dedicated her life to helping the kids in Easy Riders become the best versions of themselves. Both my daughters benefited from Jodi and there will never be another one like her. Blees her and her family. You will be sorely missed. Angie Forest (mother of Carly and Cassidy)
I still vividly remember the first time I met Jodi. I was at a horse show in Lafayette with my mom, and this woman came up and stood next to my mom who was standing along the arena fence, watching the show. This lady was asking my mom about the show, horses, etc. She had two young children with her at the time. Little did I know what a force Jodi and her children would become in the Arab horse industry. I remember the great little half-Arab pony they started showing (and winning) with!! Jodi was a great person, a great friend and I am really going to miss looking for her at the shows! I hope she and my mom are having a great time talking horses right now!!!!!!!
