I never met Rosalind. My office was at the Central office in Raleigh. So very sorry for her family.

My sincere condolences to Charles and the girls and family. Roz and I worked together for years at ESC, back in the days of the unemployment office. She was always very knowledgeable and so much fun to be around. We both had bicentennial babies, her Charles and my Chad both born in 1976. We'd share their crazy stories. Always looked forward to seeing her each year at Pat Long's Christmas party. I thought she looked like Jackie Kennedy and often told her, but she just smiled. I never thought she saw a resemblance. RIL Roz, I know you're making someone laugh, or smile.

My condolences to Rosalind's family. I first met Rosalind through our mutual friend Sky. Sky brought me along as a “date” to one of Rosalind’s holiday parties. Ever since, Rosalind and I have been friends. Whenever I was in town, I would visit with her. We would go kayaking, play Farkle, go out to eat, or stay in - whatever we did, we always had a blast. She would also visit me up north with her friend Teresa, who I also met at Rosalind’s holiday party. Most recently I was in town September 2021. That is when I last saw Rosalind. We went over to Beaufort and took a boat cruise and got some close ups of wild horses. We also went up to Aurora’s fossil museum to dig for sharks teeth, something I’ve never done before. One of our last text messages together was her telling me how much fun she had when I was in town and that she also did things that she’s never done before. As everyone knows, Rosalind is one of the kindest people in this world. She left us too soon and unexpected. We will all cherish the memories we shared with her.

Our son Trevor was a friend of Rosalind and any time he was home from Rhode Island he would get together with her. He'll treasure the time he spent with her this past September when they went to Aurora, NC to dig for sharks teeth. We were saddened to hear of her passing and send our condolences to the family. We hope the many happy memories you have will lift your spirits and begin to heal your hearts.

I first met Roz thru my wife Laura while we were dating. She quickly became a friend and evolved into sisterhood. The three of us spent many hours together, a lot of the time playing cards. I accused her many times of cheating or having a gold horseshoe located somewhere. She was always winning.
She will always be lovingly remembered and solely missed. Solid, steadfast friendship is a rare commodity and she was both. Her memory will live on with us who were blessed to have known her.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I had the honor of working with her at ESC. She was always a ray of sunshine. Even when she would call me to help with a problem she found, she was always upbeat and positive. Rarely did she ever express frustration over any of the myriad of issues that came up. Each was a new challenge to be conquered, as only Roz could do!

My sister was a coworker of Roz’s and we are so thankful for the connection. Roz just seemed to fit in with whatever was happening with our large family. We loved her expressions, her stories and how she was always so ready to hang out! I’m so thankful to have had a chance to visit with her in Swansboro this past fall where she shared her book of travels and was so excited about the future. She will definitely be missed! We love you Roz!
