Rosa Mae Shorts, 96, of Compton, California, passed away on December 12, 2022. Rosa was born on May 12,1926 to John Brown Keller and Vivian Jenkins the last of 10 children in Louisiana. After graduating from high school, she moved to California, where she attended nursing school soon after she landed her job at Gardena Memorial Hospital. Rosa Mae met her husband William Shorts Sr. they wed, and gave birth to one son William Shorts …
