These pictures fully represent the Rory we knew, who was always Sav's dad first, everything else later. He had a very big heart and always made everyone feel welcome and loved at all family functions. We loved seeing him and chatting about everything and anything. Him and I would often escape the overwhelmingy large family functions to catch up on life, especially when I was still new to the family, 12 years ago. We will never be able to make sense of why he was taken so soon, but Sav and Christine you can find comfort in the amazing memories you have shared over the last 16 years, as we all will. These times are tough but our family is tougher. Rory, your physical body may be gone, but your beautiful soul still lives on. In your time here you created so many wonderful memories and accomplishments to leave behind. Chris and Sav, how lucky are you to have something that’s so hard to miss... I know it isn’t easy right now, and it probably never will be, but we need to just focus on the small beauties. Remember that he is always with you guys. Every time you see a bird, or a flower, or a dragonfly, or a rainbow - he is here, in all of the beautiful moments. Know that you forever have a place in my heart. I love you all more than words can say. Rory was needed in heaven - and right now, you are needed on earth, but eventually we will all be together again. Rest In Peace my love.
