Ronnie's obituary

Mr. Ronnie Williamson, age 62, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at his home after an extended illness under the care of Community Hospice. He was born in Lyons, Georgia on September 18, 1961, and lived in Montgomery County his entire life. He was a 1980 graduate of Montgomery County High School. After graduating, he entered the construction industry and worked for Jeff Foskey & Son Construction, OTF Construction and eventually moved on to a twelve year career as a carpenter at Local #256 Savannah, Georgia and retired as a Journeyman. He was a member of Claxton Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Williamson and Frances Cooper Williamson; and sister, Felecia Williamson Crosby.

His family includes his wife of 15 years, Kimberlyn Williamson and one son, Bryce Williamson, both of Montgomery County; one stepson, Michael Akridge of Swainsboro; two stepdaughters, Tiffany Conley and husband Gant, and Amber Findley and husband Jerred; one sister, Brenda Galbreath and husband Michael; seven grandsons, Gabe Conley, Cole Conley, Reed Conley, Jace Williams, Tate Williams, Jerret Findley and Braden Akridge; one granddaughter, Harper Conley; one nephew, Shawn Galbreath; and two nieces, LeShae Chambers and Brittany Dunford.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, January 23rd, from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Wednesday morning, January 24th at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Pittman and Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
