Ronnie's obituary
Ronnie Lee Stevens , 64, of Phoenix Arizona , passed away on September 2nd 2021. Ronnie was born on May 9th 1957 to Myrle Dale and Ruby Ellen Stevens in Mc Cook Nebraska. At the age of 12 Ronnie and his family moved to California. At age 15 he landed his first job as a bus boy for El Rancho Restaurant , working his way up to becoming the cook. In 1973, he married Debra Ashmore, going on to have two children, Christopher and Angela. Ronnie was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Chris and Angie and always tried his best to support them. In 1976 Ronnie tried his hand in the oilfields. He made a career out of working the patch for 19 years. Ronnie move to Phoenix Arizona in 1996 and decided to go to UTI school for air-conditioning Ronnie was also a passionate about life and living it to the fullest. He enjoyed Nascar outings with his brother Jimmy and could often be found traveling to California to visit his grandchildren. Anyone who knew Ronnie knew that he was always there to help a friend in need and he wanted nothing but the best for his family. . Ronnie was predeceased by His father Myrle, His mother Ruby, Sisters : Darlene, Doris and Patty, Brothers: Jerry, Marvin and Carl. Left with beautiful memories is his brother Jimmy Stevens and wife Bea Stevens, Sister Janice Carney his son Chris Stevens and daughter in law Miss Emmaly , Daughter Angela Frank and son in law Chris Frank, along with treasured grandchildren Brooke Littlejohn, Alexys Rauser , Audrey Frank and Dalton Stevens. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest 2739 Panama Ln Bakersfield , Ca. 93313.
