Ronnie's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Papa, Ronnie ‘Ron’ Kellar, who passed away on January 22nd, 2025. Ron was 67 years old and lived in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife, Denise Kellar, and beloved dog, Hank. Ronnie fought for a long time with his cancer and kidney failure, but will be remembered by his bravery and strength to all.
Born on March 27th, 1957, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Ronnie Kellar was the son of Robert Kellar and Sarah Kellar. He grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, but moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and attended and graduated from Suncoast High School. He leaves behind his siblings, brother, Randy Kellar, sister, April Kellar (niece Jade Mammino), and brother Rob Kellar. After completing his education, he worked in the pool business until his death at the age of 67. He opened and ran his own pool business which he loved dearly.
Ronnie Kellar was a devoted family man and a loving papa. He was married to his loving wife, Denise Kellar, for almost 38 years this May 1st. He had 4 children, Christine, Candice, Dennis, and Tonya, along with his 10 grandchildren, Hailey, Joseph Jr, Cinda, Gavin, Dennis, Hannah, Elle, Stella, Megan, and Michael. He also leaves behind life long friend Terrie Warden. He loved each and every one of his grandchildren and children so deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his family and would often tell stories about his childhood and experiences. His grandchildren will remember him for his sense of humor, love of nature, and his contagious smile.
In his free time, Ronnie Kellar loved to fish and spend his time outdoors. In his younger years, he was an incredible wood craftsman, carving and creating masterpieces for his wife, Denise, and surprising her with his work. He loved fishing, determined to find a good bridge or spot in the intercoastal to bring his friends and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on March 1st at 1PM at his home, 12878 73rd Ct N, West Palm Beach, FL. We ask that friends and family please join us in this time to celebrate his life and pay your respects. The family plans to have doors open, so join us when you are available.
Ronnie Kellar will be deeply missed by his wife, family, friends, and all who knew him, but his memory will live on through his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace Papa.
