Ronda's obituary

Ronda Suzanne Baker, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away surrounded by love and peace. Born with a heart full of kindness and a soul that radiated joy, Ronda touched the lives of all who knew her.

Raised by her beloved parents, Ronald Davis and Mary Marie Mitchell, of Reynoldsburg Ohio. She graduated from Watkins High School in 1981 and went on to earn her Medical Assistant Diploma in 1983. Shortly after, she met the love of her life, John Baker, and together they built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful children, Lynsie and Devin.

For roughly 20 years, Ronda served as a member of the SWL School District kitchen staff, where she formed countless special connections and life-long friendships. Her warmth and laughter brought comfort and joy to coworkers and students alike.

Ronda found her greatest joy near the water — whether it was on sunny family beach vacations, relaxing in her favorite corner spot by the pool, or casting a line while fishing with her grandson Gavin and beloved friends.

She was known for her heart of gold, her genuine spirit, and a deep-rooted faith that guided her through life. Ronda had a remarkable way of spreading positivity, with a witty sense of humor and a bold, unique style that made her unforgettable. She truly was everybody’s friend — the kind of person who made you feel seen, loved, and valued.

Ronda’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of life for Ronda will be held at a later date, the family will provide further updates.
