Ronald's obituary

On April 27, 1953, Ronald White, son of the late James Lawrence White, Sr and Mildred

White was born in Salisbury, North Carolina. After a battle with a chronic illness, he

entered eternal rest in his home at Phoenix, Arizona on February 3, 2024.

He was a Code Compliance Specialist (Plumbing) for the District of Columbia

Regulatory Affairs for 17 years. He retired from DC government in 2019. He served as a

Project Manager for the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology on the Walter Reed Army

Base and J&J Worldwide Services for 3 years. He was a foreman, estimator, plumbing

field supervisor as well as a sole proprietor of three companies: R White Plumbing,

Inspect-Detect, a home inspection business and Trade Max, LLC a training company.

He enjoyed plumbing and received his Master Plumber/Gasfitter license in 1985.

Ronald trained and mentored several plumbers throughout the metropolitan area. He

taught the journeyman classes for Skilled Tradesman Trade School and ABC

In 1959 Ron moved from Salisbury, NC to New Haven, CT. In 1971 he graduated from

Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut. He later moved to Washington, DC

Lastly, he loved riding his motorcycle throughout the city. During Memorial Day he

participated in the Rolling Thunder ride with his brothers-in-law on the mall to honor

veterans. He would ride with his neighbor, take day trips and ride to Connecticut and
