Ron's obituary

Ronald Vincent Webber passed away unexpectedly at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida, on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was only 65 years old.

Ronald Vincent Webber is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Webber (Jenkins), and sons, Ronnie, Alasdair, Gordan. He is also survived by his nephew Robbie Webber, niece Tiffany Webber, and brother Robert Webber of Petersburg, Virginia, previously of Delhi, New York. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman Webber and Marion Webber (Mack).

During his school years, Ronald attended Harvey Elementary School in North Dakota, Bartholomew Junior High in Columbus, Indiana, Sidney High School in Sidney, New York, and Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

During his working years, he was a design engineer/consultant for Porous Materials, Inc. in Ithaca, NY from 1983 to 2012, an engineering consultant for Innovative Dynamics in Ithaca from 2007 to 2014, a project engineer for Quantachrome (acquired in 2018 by Anton Paar) in Boynton Beach, Florida from 2012 to 2018, and a software developer for Anton Paar QuantaTec from 2018-to present. During the 1980s, he developed an Atari game named Amphibian. He had extensive software skills, and hardware knowledge.

He was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on June 1, 1960. From there, he resided in St. Catherine’s, Ontario; Bienfait, Saskatchewan; Grafton, North Dakota; Harvey, North Dakota; Columbus, Indiana; Sidney, New York; Ithaca,New York; and Dryden, New York; where he married Catherine in 1995, and started his family, moving later with his family to Boynton Beach, Florida.
