Ron is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who will deeply miss his presence. Ron was a passionate Master Gardener who took great pride in cultivating his garden entirely organically. He found joy in sharing his bountiful harvest with family, friends and neighbors, spreading not only his fruits of his labor but also his generous spirit and love for nature. Ron was well known for his stunning lawn, meticulous landscaping, and flowers, which he cared for with great dedication. Nobody could match Ron's mastered skill on his barbeque grills. His steaks, prime rib, brisket and other meats were frequently requested by family and friends. Ron's grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He took great delight in being present at their activities. Ron was a man of faith, finding great joy and strength with his walk with Jesus. His steadfast devotion and spiritual journey were a source of inspiration to all that knew him. He will be deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Thurston Family in care of Myra.
