Ronald Lee Suarez, 82, of Canton, Ohio passed away on August 14, 2022 surrounded by family. Ron was born December 18,1939 in Akron, Ohio to Ovidio and Mary Suarez. Ron graduated from Garfield High School in Akron and attended Kent State University. Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and watching Ohio State football games. Three of his favorite places to visit were Port Clinton, OH, the Outer Banks of NC, and Sanibel Island, FL. Regardless of the activity or location, Ron treasured time spent with his family and closest friends. He will be deeply missed.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ovidio, mother, Mary, brother, Lloyd Suarez, and sister-in-law, Ann Suarez, and his beloved cocker spaniel and companion, Bucky.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of nearly 51 years, Beverly. Ron had three children: Mark (Lana) Suarez of Alexandria, Virginia; Todd (Molly) Suarez of Uniontown, Ohio; and Kara (Kasey) Leonard of Naples, Florida. Ron had three grandchildren whom he adored, and who adored him equally: Samuel, Everett, and Isaac.

Per Ron’s wishes, a private celebration of his life is planned.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, you save your money. Ron would have preferred it that way.
