Ron's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald "Ron" Sopher on November 16, 2025. Born on November 30, 1964, Ron was a vivacious and caring individual, who brought joy to the lives of those around him.
Ron was a man known for his engaging humor, unwavering stubbornness, and tireless work ethic. He was a caring soul with a heart as big as his personality. Ron’s sense of humor could light up a room and his dedication to his loved ones made him a pillar of strength for his family and friends. Ron worked for Kroger since 2020 and became close with several coworkers who all loved and cared for him. He will truly be missed by those who worked with him.
He had a soft spot for his grandkids, Kadan and Bella, his dog Dom, and his cat Johnny, who were often the subjects of his affectionate tales.
Ron is survived by his daughter Katie , son-in-law Robert, granddaughter Isabella, and grandson. He also leaves behind his siblings, Gary (Drama) Sopher, Donna (Dave) McReynolds, Debbie Name, Craig (Mark) Morrow, Donald (Angela) Sopher, and Janice Sopher. Ron was also a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews who he loved very much.
Ron was predeceased by his father, Richard Sopher, and mother, Frances Sopher. Their memories always remained close to his heart and guided him throughout his life.
Ron will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His laughter, love, and legacy will continue to live on in those who loved him. We remember him as a beacon of love and resilience, and his memories will forever remain etched in our hearts. As we mourn the loss of our beloved Ron, we find comfort in remembering the joy and happiness he brought into our lives.
