Ron's obituary

Ronald "Ron" Lewis, 69, of Sequatchie, TN, passed away on December 18, 2022.

Ron was born on January 13, 1953 to Alfred Anthony Lewis and Perlso Sophie Lewis in San Diego, CA.

Ron was outrageous! He had a wild sense of humor and loved to shock people for his own entertainment, especially complete strangers. He would put metal washers in his eyes and pull up to a red light and look over to the other driver with a sinister grin and laugh hysterically at their shocked faces.

Ron was adventurous, he loved the mountains, the deserts and riding his motorcycles and shooting his guns, always taking short trips to "the hills" to shoot targets and share his lunches with the illegals who were nearly starving.

He'd take his kids to the beach, to the parks to feed the ducks, look for treasures, or just "going for a nighttime drive".

Ron was also very generous, often cleaning out the linen closets and passing out clean, warm blankets to the homeless people sleeping on the streets in downtown.

Ron had strong work ethics and loved numbers, math and history, especially Civil War and American History.

Anyone who knew Ron knew that he was very handy and could build and fix anything.

Ron was predeceased by both parents and a brother, Stephen. He is survived by his daughter Briar and son Aaron, brother Glen, sister Suzanne and best friend of all time, Mike Watson.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Humane Society, animal shelter or rescue.
