Uncle Shag and Aunt BJ were, and always, a part of me in that they gave me the courage to be confident and determined. They were spirited and independent minded with a deep love for family and community. I miss them deeply. My dad, Jim Davis, will especially miss his dear brother-in-law (like a brother) and especially their golf games. Shag was sharp witted up to his final days and loved us all with all his heart and soul. His passing brings us closer and his influence lives eternally.
