Ronny's obituary
We are horribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Ronald “Ronny” Rodriguez at the age of 67.
Ronny Rodriguez was born on March 14, 1955 to parents Marlene and Emmet “Sonny” Rodriguez in Baton Rouge. He owned Hammerhead Contractors and worked in construction for over forty years.
Ronny is predeceased by Sonny Rodriguez, Marlene Rodriguez and Robbie Rodriguez. He is survived by Frank Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, Nick Rodriguez, Kelli Robichaux (David Robichaux), Phillip Robert Spragis, Oliver Rodriguez and Roman Robichaux.
There is a quote by William Penn that reads, “They that love beyond the world cannot be separated by it.” Although Ronny had many roles that defined him throughout his life, he considered his greatest role as being a father to his two children, Nick and Kelli. The importance of that role was demonstrated through his unconditional love, support, and everyday presence for his children and grandchildren. His love is a legacy that has no ending. It is evident in the kindness, compassion, and loyalty seen in Nick and Kelli. A love that his children not only demonstrate to their own children, but to all of those who are fortunate enough to have a relationship with them. Ronny set the highest example of living every day for his family, living his life in a way that left no doubt of the love he has for them. A love that outlasts a lifetime.
Please join us in celebrating Ronny’s life at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints {25367 Riverton Ave Denham Springs, LA 70726} on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm. Food will be provided.
