I am so very sorry for the sudden and untimely loss to the Rodriguez family…It seems like every memory I have of 1324 Glenmore Ave was shared with Ronny and family. Great motorcycle riding Ronny had a Suzuki 100 I recall! It is comforting to know Ronny and Marcus are reunited they were always great friends❤️ Sam B.

My sincerest condolences to you Kelli and Nick, in the sudden loss of your precious father. My heart is with you, even though we've never met. Y'all are his greatest joy and love. Your dad and I have been friends since 1971, and have stayed in contact all of these years even once I moved to California. Most recently, through the pandemic, we shared tons of phone time. It was always as if we were still those curious teens each time we spoke. Ronny was a true gem, authentic and intelligent with a quick wit and a heart of gold. I know you know this! May he rest in eternal peace and may God bless your family today in this incredibly tender time and forever. Words barely reach, yet may your grief be soothed by his loving memory, as time evolves. I'm truly, so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Marsea Marquis

I worked with Ronnie for my years at MBD construction.  He was my superintendent at construction projects at LSU at the Lab School and Hatcher Hall.  Ronnie was a good friend and our  prayers are with the family on this tragic loss.

Kelli,
My husband David and I worked with Ronny at MBD Construction in the 90’s.   I remember him bringing you and Nick to the office.  After that we would run into him occasionally when we went to On the Half Shell or when getting our hair cuts at Matt Brocato’s. We are so terribly sorry for y’all’s loss. We always really liked Ronny and considered him a friend and there was never any doubt about how much he loved you and Nick.

As a young man I worked for Ronny. Just he and I. We traveled the city in his big blue truck, hauling every tool imaginable to do countless renovation projects. He taught me so much about construction; carpentry, production, work ethic, quality, client relations and so much more. He was an excellent mentor and a joy to work with. He knew how to work hard but balance it with fun. I had great respect for him and wanted to do well for him. Years later when I started my own construction business, Ronny came to work for me. He was my top man and we built some great projects together. Beyond his skills as a great construction man, the thing that impressed me the most about him was his love of family. He was a single parent and he always managed to do that job better than anyone else I'd ever seen. We have shared countless memories in our time working together; overcoming challenges, completing great projects, having fun and laughing a ton, but my lasting memory of this great man will be the loving father and grandfather that he was. And although I had not seen Ronny much in the last many years, I always knew that we had great respect for one another. I will miss you ole friend.

Ronny was one of the good guys a best friend of my brother Marcus for many years and a friend of mine as well. He will be missed by all that knew him and his incredible craft of building anything and being  a Father to his children.
