It's still rather difficult to believe that Ron is gone. After he moved to the farm I didn't see much of him. But, I did visit once and got to see the house he built and hear all about his future plans for the farm. I'll always be grateful for getting to spend that time with him. I've no idea what took him from us, but I hope whatever it was did not cause him pain and that he is resting in peace now.
I moved away and have been out of touch so I didn’t know. Seeing that someone sent you a heavenly bday was a gut punch. I have very fond memories of days filled with coffee and conversation. Much love
I knew Ronnie in the early '70s while we worked together in an Atlanta restaurant.
One evening at my apartment he played a solo death scene for my friends and I. So well a neighbor saw it from an adjacent apartment and called the police, who then showed up at my door.
I'm so terribly sad to learn about Ron's passing. I hadn't seen him in a good while, but stayed in touch online. I knew his life was changing, but had no clue he had any health issues.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those of us who were lucky enough to know him.
Ron and I became friends in Atlanta in the 1980's. We hit it off immediately due to our common outlooks and senses of humor. We lost touch for a couple decades but reconnected in the era of Facebook. We'll miss you, old boy. I'll raise a toast in your honor tonight.
Ron was always such a joy to see...Kenny says Ron always made him laugh, sharing acting stories and talking about what was on the horizon. Ron will be remembered, missed and beloved.
Ron was one of our lead actors on "No Sin Unpunished" which was filmed in Atlanta in 2017. I was one of the producers, and his energy and kind spirit was inspirational to cast/crew alike. He was a very talented actor, and I was honored to call him my friend. Ron will be greatly missed but my memories of him will last forever. Here is our memorial to him from our FB film page: https://www.facebook.com/nosi… John C. Farris
My condolences to Ron's family. He was truely one of the kinder, gentler souls in this world. I first met Ron at Joe's Coffee in East Atlanta soon after I moved here. He saw me looking for a table and invited me to join his. I became a regular at the table, and we started our friendly crossword rivalry. I am grateful to have been his friend.
I am so bummed by this. Ron was one amazing actor and one of my good friends. We’ve worked together many times over the years and I have considered him the best working actor in Atlanta. He was always friendly to everyone and worked so hard. You will be missed Ron.
