Ronald Boyd Plants (Ronnie) passed away at the age of 67.
He was Born in Shreveport, Louisiana and was a life long resident.
Proceded in death by his father, Fred W. Plants, mother, Norma Scruggs Plants, and Nephew, Jeffrey M Lyons.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amanda Brooke Blunt, husband Jon. Two sisters; Carol Ann Gaston, husband Hartley and their children, Douglas Gaston, wife Sandy. Michelle Dancy, husband John. Mary Elaine LeBlanc, husband Keith and nephew Kerry Lyons. Survivors include two aunts and several cousins.

Ronnie retired from the Shreveport Fire Department as Captain after 30 years of dedicated service.

At his request, no service was held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family.

Memorial donations can be made to the Shreveport Firefighter's Benevolent Fund.
