Ron McNaney passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, after a brief illness.

Ron was born January 11, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to George and Geraldine McNaney. Ron was baptized December 24, 1961, at Trinity Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Ron was an auto mechanic and worked with his brother-in-law, Walt Rommel, for a span of time. Ron had a love and appreciation for nature as well as animals. Later in life, he worked as a security guard for the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. In addition, Ron was a talented and gifted drummer. He used this talent with several different bands/groups through the years. 

Ron is survived by three sisters: Sandra Fackler and Debra Rommel both of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Brenda Hubbard of Stafford, Texas. Also, a niece, Jennifer Fackler Jones and two great nieces, Delayna and Evelynn Jones.

Ron was preceded in death by: grandparents, George and Grace Zimmerman; mother, Geraldine McNaney; infant sister, Cindy Dixon.

Afterglow
