I will always remember Ron's smile and twinkling eyes of encouragement. A wonderful friend and pastor.

Ron and Alberta were two of our favorite people while they served the congregation of Lower Miami Church of the Brethren. They were dedicated and such warm caring people. I’ve enjoyed seeing them at the JeffersonTwp Banquet also. My deepest condolences to the entire McAdams family...Ron will never be forgotten.
Bert......I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Ron was well loved and known -especially for his Pecan Pies - at Mill Rudge!
Every carry in, bake sale, etc we all were hoping he would be bringing his famous Pecan Pies and he never disappointed!
Ron was always so caring , loving, involved and helpful to all of us at Mill Ridge in so many ways.
I have many memories of him I will always cherish.
Rob certainly made my job a lot easier.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Thank you Ron for everything that you did to keep FOBG going. Lots of hard work and it took a man of many talents and love of his fellow man or woman. Thank you as we continue to grow of FOBG. FOBG has always been about God and family and Ron you gave the example. Thank you for your service. Condolences to the family. God's Blessings Always, Jimmy Garst FOBG President.
Bert, Mindy, Tim, Ben, Dillon and Family - Ron lived his faith very well, he loved life and his Savior , well done Ron! He was a true brother in Christ and his calm demeanor will be missed. Ron loved his family and he loved to make 'heavenly' pies - wish I had one now, but I am guessing Ron will fix some for the Wedding Feat, do I get an AMEN?!?

A ceremony was held on August…
2008, Blickenstaff Cemetery, Monroe Township, Miami County, Ohio
A ceremony was held on August 29, 2008, to commemorate the completion of the Blickenstaff Cemetery restoration near Tipp City, Ohio. Because it was believed that most of those buried in the nearly 200-year-old cemetery were of the Old Order German Baptist faith, Ron was present in period vestments to offer a prayer and to rededicate the cemetery. A portion of Ron's comments at the rededication are as follows: 'We gather here today in this place to rededicate this cemetery and our thoughts automatically go to the past. As we see urban sprawl grab up prime farm land, as we see hundreds of new people moving into this area who know nothing of the history of the land upon which they are making new lives, we recognize that time marches on and that those voices that rang out here in this area in the 1800’s have been silenced. We realize therefore that it is an important thing that we do in gathering here today. It has been nearly 200 years ago that the pioneer families stood on this spot for the burial of a loved one. They prayed to God for comfort. They mourned the loss of a dear one. We come to dedicate a plaque and dedicate this cemetery so that those who come after us to this place might catch a glimpse of the history that we share.'
