Ronald's obituary
We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Ronald Hollis, born on February 25, 1946, and departed on May 26, 2025. Ronald led an exemplary life of love, faith, and joy, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ronald leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Joann Hollis, his children Matthew Hollis, Jason Hollis, Lindsay Boatright, Buck Robinson, Christina Vairin, Jennifer Young and Victoria Carlisle. He also survived by his siblings, Jack Hollis, Wendall Hollis, Marilyn Pinkham, Carole Parma and Wally Hollis. He also leaves numerous loving grandkids, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. His warmth, wisdom, and infectious love for life will live on in his family.
A devoted attendee of Centerville Christian Church, Ronald's faith was pivotal in his life. His love for the Booth Brothers and Gaithers Vocal Band, echoed his religious conviction and resonated with everyone around him.
With a taste for the classics, Ronald loved the movie Field of Dreams and passionately supported the Red Wings, particularly during the era of Gordie Howe. His recreational joys were simple and heartfelt, spending time with his family and enjoying J's Dairy in Liberty, Indiana, one of his favorite local spots.
An adventurous spirit, Ronald cherished vacationing in Hawaii but found equal joy in any locale as long as he was with his family.
Describing Ronald's personality merely as amazing wouldn't do him justice. He had a unique knack for making people feel special and loved. His legacy—an unwavering love for God and for others—is a testament to the exemplary life he led. He touched many hearts and minds, and his memory will live on in those he loved and those who loved him.
