Hey Dad, as you probably already know, we are hanging in there! I think we just keep telling ourselves what we know you would be telling us, helping each other make sense of this, to take our next steps in unity as a family in this process. We've really stepped up considering the ever lasting heartbreak we've experienced.
You'd be proud of us Dad, it's like we've turned into 5 mini "you's" down here!
100+ mini "you's" if you count everyone else helping us pull through this! 😊 Thank you everyone for all your love and support you've given our family through this!
We love you Dad, so much!!!! ❤️

I will always be so grateful to have been taken in by Ron and Cathy and the Harman family. Makayla has been my best friend for over a decade, and her father has always set such a wonderful example in her life and mine. Living in the Harman home, I learned that he was pretty quiet, but when he had something to say, he was always right. He was a wonderful role model and father, and I’m forever blessed by the opportunity to have had his influence in my life.

Ron was my one and only brother in law for the past 42 years. He had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to joke around with. Many great memories from all of the family reunions and golf outings. My thoughts and prayers will always be with your family. RIP Brah in law!

I will always remember his sense of humor, his patience, and his positive attitude. We will never be able to fill the enormous hole he has left, but we will love each other even harder in his memory!

Lori and I will be keeping your family in prayer daily through this incredibly shocking loss, that the Good Shepherd of Psalm 23 would be with you through this valley, while being confident that Ron is with the Good Shepherd now and forever. Ron was a great friend and teammate and leader during the many great days of creating something incredible with MDeverywhere starting 30 plus years ago. He architected and helped lead a team that created and maintained a solution that doctors used for at Duke and other health systems for over 14 years for every encounter every day, which laid the foundation to what we as doctors use today to keep patients safe and get the work done. With his God given gifts of brilliance, compassion and leadership, we accomplished the impossible together, changed healthcare for the better, and enjoyed the journey together. We also created lasting friendships, still lasting to today. Lori and I will be out of town the weekend of Aug 15,16 for baby shower for our son and his wife and baby on the way, but we would love to gather together with other MDeverywhere team members and other friends another time for reunion and to remember and thank God for Ron’s precious life. Life is precious. Give someone a hug today and let them know they are precious!! We love you Ron! Lifting your family up right now.
