It is with deep sadness that I learn of Ron’s passing. He took a chance on me at MDeverywhere when I had very little experience, and from day one, he proved to be an incredible mentor.

I once asked him why he hired me, and his response was simple: “Because you were honest in the interview.” That stuck with me. Ron had seen it all, he was experienced, sharp, and deeply intuitive.

I will never forget the trade show trips, and the way his leadership made everyone feel both confident and supported. He trusted his team, never micromanaged, and always led with calm assurance. With Ron, you always knew someone had your back.

Rest in peace Ron. You were more than a boss, you were a guiding force. Your impact will stay with me always.

To Ron’s family: this is a profound loss. My heart goes out to you, and I hope you find peace and strength during this difficult time.

Ron was a great guy who helped me out with opportunities when I was going through a really tough time in my life and I was grateful for his kindness.  Even hung out with him a couple times and had a few laughs.
I am so saddened by Ron’s passing. Although I did not know him well, I knew him well enough to know what a great and fun guy he was. I had the opportunity to play a few rounds of golf with him at the April Fools Tournament. He was always kind and fun to be around and I’ll miss him and the next tournament. My sincerest condolences to the family. RIP Ron!

Ron was a great partner & mentor, he trusted me when no one else was willing to trust me as a startup for https://shispare.com in 2005/06, it was a 20 years old relationship with him, he helped Shispare attract early customers and become a big company what we are today, i personally used to remain in touch with him over the years and always considered him a partner and mentor, its a great loss to me personally and for the company. My condolences to whole family and i hope you are given the courage to bear this great loss.

Thanks,

I worked with Ron back in 2010-2011 - He was a really nice and generous dude. We worked on PatientPay.com where he outsourced some of the work to us. He enjoyed working on innovative tech that made people's life easy. A very smart individual that came with ideas for complex problems.
I have always enjoyed working with Ron, such a kind hearted individual.

No matter what, no matter how busy you were, you were always there to help and to serve. That is just one measure, just one of so many ways, that speaks to the amazing man you were. Ron, you will forever be in my thoughts and my heart. RIP Ron Harman. God bless you.

At this point I am still coming to accept that Ronnie is no longer with us.  We have to go forward with out lives without him.  Losing people we care about always seems a surprise. Still this loss is simply shocking as we saw Ronnie a few weeks ago. He was in good spirits and looked the picture of health.

I have know Ronnie from birth to to where we are today. Although, his family moved a good bit over the years. We as a family came together several times each year, I watched Ronnie grow as a person and he made is family proud. Not just his success in business but as a person.

Ron was a good man and he cared about others and strived to do the right thing...simply because it was the right thing to do.

I know Ron enjoyed his occupation, golf, the Florida Gators. But his greatest love was for Cathy and his family. When he spoke of them he seemed to beam with happiness. He loved his sisters and his extended family.

I consider myself lucky to be part of Ron's life even as it was very short. I will miss his quiet presence and his calm nature. Ron is an example of living a life with the correct priorities in good times and in troubled times. That in my opinion tells us the character of a person.

I and my family will miss not seeing him from time to time. We will miss him knowing that we will not see him again, Still, we are very fortunate to have Ron, Cathy and his family as part of our family.

Ron is gone but his legacy will live on in each of as we navigate the coming years without him. It will not be easy but I know Ron would want all of us to live our lives to the fullest. To care for each other and to care  for others. He would want all of us to enjoy our lives, laugh and remember how much he cared for his family and friends. Ron gave us a roadmap on how to live our lives. Ronnie is no longer with us in person but he will be with us forever and a day.  BC

I did not know Ron a very long time, but I so enjoyed playing golf with him!! He always seemed to be in a great mood regardless of how he played! He will be missed, and I hate I didn't get to spend more time with him!!

I think I am still in shock and have been trying to find words to express how I feel.  Ron was the best mentor and friend to me.  He was always there when I needed a sounding board and never got tired of me asking for advice. I will forever remember him as a servant leader who was always putting others before himself.  Running into him at networking events about town was always a treat.  He loved his family more than anything and was always sharing funny stories with me about his trips with Cathy and the kids.  Alex and I loved our time out for dinner with Cathy and Ron as well and my heart goes out to you and the kids.   This has got to be the hardest time of your life but know he will always be with you in your hearts and in your memories.  I am keeping you in my prayers and would love to give you all a big hug.   Unfortunately Alex and I will not be in town for the memorial service since that is college move in weekend for Jojo.  If you need anything please call me.  🙏

I met Ron a couple years back and he was kind enough to sit down with me regularly to talk about our tech. He didn’t have to, he just wanted to see another guy get ahead who was starting a new business. He was a down to earth, genuine guy and always had practical advice. He was patient, kind and supportive even though there was nothing in it for him. Ron talked about his family a lot during our chats, and you could tell you were his priority.  Myself and the board at WorkerSpring are sending our deepest condolences and prayers. Rest in peace Ron.

I will deeply miss my friend Ron.

There are so many qualities I admired in him and so much I gained from his friendship over the years. He was the easiest person to be around—warm, open, and genuinely kind. When we were deciding who to add to our annual golf trip at Sunset Beach, Ron was the obvious choice. He fit in effortlessly, simply because being with him was easy. He never made things about himself. He listened intently, asked insightful questions, and never judged.

Ron also possessed an uncanny wisdom. I remember a time when I grew frustrated with him for not sharing a solution that we both knew would benefit the group. Afterward, I asked him why he held back. He calmly said, “I could have, but they weren’t ready to hear it yet.” That moment has stayed with me. Ron had a quiet patience and restraint that spoke volumes. He taught me so much by the way he carried himself and the way he treated others.

Through our many conversations, whether at work or on the golf course, it was clear how much Ron cherished his family. Being around him made you want to be a better person.

I am heartbroken by his passing and grieve alongside his family.

Dear Cathy and beautiful family, I am holding you so close to my heart. Absolutely shattered for you all. I loved hearing Cathy’s story about Ron and seeing her eyes shine with love. Love IS eternal.

We hold dear many great memories of shared life with the Ron, Cathy, and the entire Harman family.  We love you all, and share in your deep sadness for the loss of Ron.  He was friendly, kind, and easy going.  Know that we will always be here for you in whatever you need.  Always. Much love xoxo
Goodbye friend. I have been thinking about you a lot lately and trying to find the right words to express my appreciation for our friendship as well as your impact on others. I look back at the great times we had together on the golf course, alone at Town Hall Burger or dinner with our mutual friends, and more recently at Canes’ games and tailgates. We can all learn from your ability to listen to others, your calm demeanor regardless of the situation and most importantly your selflessness in your personal, volunteer and career choices. Your relationships and interactions with others were impactful whether they occurred over many years or at one brief encounter. With all that said, everyone was fair game for your dry wit and sarcasm. Thank you for being a great friend. I will miss you buddy, but you will never be forgotten.
