Dear Debra , our sincere condolences to you and your family  ... there are no words that can easy your pain.

Thinking of you ,

Lana & Alex

There are no words that can express how saddened I was to hear of Ron‘s passing.

For about 25 years, Ron and I worked side by side. Ron was fantastic to work with as he had a great sense of humour, an upbeat personality, a positive outlook and a very wry wit. Ron was loved by everyone who knew him.

Ron was a vital part of our Town Shoes team - as he had great vision and was the best mens’ and kids’ buyer in the country.

Our time in the office and our shoe trips together were always memorable.

Ron will be missed by all who knew him. Heartfelt condolences on your loss. Alan Simpson

Dear Debra and family,

Ray and I are so sorry for your loss. Our deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Debra, Cassandra and Kristen,

We were so sad to hear about Ron. Such a shock. Ron always made haulout and launch a lot of fun. His humour and smile was infectious. On our club cruises, Ron would make a vegetarian appetizer, just for me!

Ron had a heart of gold. He will be missed by all.

Our deepest sympathy for you and your family.

Linda

Debra, I am so sorry. Ron always had such a positive attitude. He had a great laugh and a great sense of humour.

Dear Deb and Kristen and Cassandra,

So very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. What a beautiful light! An infectious smile. Thinking of you all

 Debra:

Maj-Lis and I are shocked to learn of Ron’s passing.

We will always remember the twinkle in Ron’s eye as he wove humour into every conversation. We will miss his laughter.

His compassion for others brought him to BPYC’s Outreach Committee to help, as a major force in fund raising. Independently he took the initiative to host blind sailors, as friends, on his boat. I will remember his kindness and generosity to others.

To you and your family we extend our heartfelt condolences and wish you all the best possible during this difficult time.

Don and Maj-Lis

Deb and Family - Truly sorry for your loss, our thoughts are with you. Peace and Love.

Thank you Ron for all my full tummies, and hangovers. Thank you for all the laughter and always looking after me, with sailing. The “head” is right down there Jules. Thank you for never calling me my real name, lol. I will miss you like a big brother. Always would play the piano for me. Boy we had fun with all our other buddies. Too soon Bub. Will miss you always. ❤️

Dear Debra, Kristen, Cassandra,

Our sincere condolences, myself and Olga are shocked and saddened by Ron’s passing. I've known Ron for the last two years since I joined BPYC, He was always pleasant with a great smile and willing to help.

Our prayers are with all of the family. Ron will be missed.

Moe and Olga

Like everyone, Linda and I are shocked and saddened by Ron’s passing. We have had the pleasure of enjoying club cruises and BPYC events with Ron over the years. He was never without a come back to any comment I might make. I was no match for him. I will miss seeing and exchanging quips across boats while topside preparing for launch.  BPYC is the lessor for his passing, but more importantly so is the world. Our prayers are with all of the family at this time.
Dear Debra,Kristen, Cassandra, our thoughts are with you, such a great person that made a huge difference in my life, Ron, love you and will miss you so much ! Syl and Anie

Debra and family,

So very sad  and shocked to hear about Ron. Sending our deepest condolences. We will miss his infectious grin and our chats at BPYC. He will be sorely missed.

Sincerely, Ann and Geoff

I was totally shocked to hear of Ron's passing. I will always remember Ron for his wit and kindness. He was never shy to state his thoughts, good or bad, you knew exactly where he stood. We usually met up in Europe and made time to enjoy dinner once or twice a trip which was always the highlight.  My warmest thoughts to Ron's family for their huge loss.

Dear Debra & Kristen & Cassandra,

I was so sorry to hear of Ron's passing, he was a very special man. Two generations of my family had the pleasure of working  with Ron at both Bata and Town.  Shoe shows in far off cities, dinners, drinks and laughs were always on tap when Ron was around.  He was not just talented guy but really fun too, he will be sorely missed.  Thinking of you all at this time.
