I met Ron January 9,1989 when we started the Dekalb county police academy.  During the academy we were often paired up for various tasks. Like the time we were hand cuffed and had to climb over a chain link fence.  We road together as rookie officers working task force.  Some superiors didn’t like two rookies riding together but the sergeant told them we make good arrests and often received commendations for our actions.  We continued working together on both evening and morning watch. When I was in ICU after being shot, only family was allowed to in, Ron just told the nursing staff that he was my brother.  We remained brothers of the badge until his passing.  I truly miss my friend and brother.

Ron and I had a civil wedding in Kampala Uganda on 23rd January 2025. We were hoping to host a white wedding in Atlanta USA Today 7th June as His 68th birthday Gift. But I believe that Ron is happy today knowing that it is his very special day! Forever cherished in my heart my dearest husband Ronald Eugene Gaither.  You were such an Angel from God to me and am sure you are doing your Angelic duties right now. I love you forever my dear husband Ron.
Praying for the family for comfort and strength during this time. We truly miss Prophet Ron and know he is looking down at us in peace.
