Background
Early on in Ron's police career, he lost a close friend and fellow police officer to line-of-duty gunfire. The impact of this loss had a lasting impression on him. C.O.P.S. focuses on rebuilding the shattered lives of surviving family members and co-workers affected by a line-of-duty death.
