Hoffman Estates — Ronald Davenport, 77, died Monday, September 2, 2019 in his home following a series of illnesses.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, JoAnn Davenport; his sons, Andy Davenport and Tony Davenport; five grandchildren; and many close friends.
Born and raised in Chicago, the son of Donald and Hope Davenport, he was a lifelong resident of Hoffman Estates.
In his early years, Ron would lifeguard at Lake Michigan and loved to swim. …
